How your data is handled

This page explains what data YT Downloader handles when you use the free YouTube video downloader at zendaya.site. Short version: we collect almost nothing, keep files for at most an hour, and never sell or share your data.

What we process

• Video URLs or search terms you submit — used only to fetch and convert the video you requested. They are not stored permanently and never shared with third parties.
• Downloaded files — generated on demand so you can save them, then automatically deleted from the server every hour. Nothing is archived or kept long-term.
• Account details (only if you sign up for bulk download) — your email address and a securely hashed password. We never see or store your actual password. Used only to log you in and protect bulk download from abuse.
• Basic server logs (IP address, request time, requested page) — kept for security and debugging only, never used for profiling or advertising.

What we never collect

• No names, no phone numbers, no payment details — the service is completely free.
• No advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts on the download tool.
• We do not sell or share your email with anyone, ever.

Cookies

This site does not set tracking or advertising cookies. Any cookies used are strictly technical (for example, keeping the site working correctly) and contain no personal data.

Data retention

Converted video and audio files live on the server for at most one hour before an automatic cleanup removes them — including files nobody downloaded. Server logs are rotated and not kept longer than needed for security. Account data (email + hashed password) is kept only while your account exists — reach out through YT Downloader if you want your account and data deleted.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. Videos are fetched from YouTube's public servers solely to fulfill your download request.

Children

This tool is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them — we don't collect personal data from anyone.
